Matt Jeter

Matt Jeter,

CPFA Principal

Matt started in the financial services industry in 1994. He enjoys working with business owners and entrepreneurs who strive to grow their companies and accumulate wealth. Since they are extremely busy people, they appreciate the fact that they can count on Matt to manage everything for them, while keeping them informed of their progress.

Matt works closely with Clay Gilliland and Cole Morgan on all investment decisions and financial planning for their clients. Their goal is to remove the burden of managing assets from their clients, so they are free to focus on their businesses, careers, families and passions.

While in college, Matt’s great aunt gave him some stock in a small bank in Victoria, Texas. As he watched it grow through several acquisitions, he witnessed the potential of buying good companies as long-term investments – something he practices and believes in today. He is skilled at seeing the big picture, giving him a long-term perspective that he uses to seek opportunities in investments he feels may be undervalued.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Originally from Altheimer, Arkansas, Matt lives in Little Rock. His wife, Marcie, owns her own commercial real estate firm. His son, Hudgens, is married and living in Fayetteville and his daughter, Kate, is a senior at the University of Arkansas.

In his free time, Matt enjoys managing a small farm in Jefferson County and investing in agricultural and commercial real estate. He also enjoys different types of hunting, snow skiing, motorcycle riding, and spending time with his family in these various endeavors.
